So Wednesday was real slow at work. Everybody is kinda sick of the winter. The friggin planets of snow and freezing sub-subzero temperature doesn't help any. It takes sheer dedication,will-power,focus and undefeatable guilt to expose my face from under the comforter every morning, approximately 6.23 minutes after my alarm rings. ..Talking about alarms, my roommate has found a new way to bug me in the morning. As soon as he hears my alarm go off, he runs into the bathroom before I know what hit me. It usually takes me 6.23 minutes to react....which inevitably makes me late for work...Although, I did get into work earlier than normal today since my indoor soccer team is in the playoff's for this season. So I have a semi final game tonight and a potential final thereafter. Go Rowdies!!!!
On a more global note, Van Nistelroy signed a new contract with MUFC today, which will make him richer by a mere 70000 pounds a week through the year 2007. He signed his new contract a day after Fergie renewed his contract for another year. The future at MANU is going to be very interesting, with Fergie at odds with the two major shareholders(25% collectively) at the club. Villa signed Solano for just 1.5 million which in my opinion is far less then what he is actually worth. I found this cool beckham website that gives audiences some news of his life at Real and in Spain. After he made his 43 million dollar transfer to Real Madrid from Manchester United last year, we hear less of him than before. So something is better than nothing I guess...
Switching topics, today's link of the day is a good resource for NRI's. Unlike other websites that splash a gazillion advertisements in your face, this one seems to be more informative. Dugal will like this one. Just the other day we were discussing the pros and cons of investing NRI 'dollers' in India instead of here in the US.
I plan to incorporate functionally for you guys to reply to these posts pretty soon....
I plan to a lot of things.....and one of them is get back to work right now :)
P.S. Another cooler link of the day is a website of a coworker, Greg Bender....Some good stuff..check it out...

So I got "squash"ed by Mithun in our racketball game last night. good workout though...I worked from home last night for a bit ...have a build @ work on 2/12 and lots to do before then...I am currently reading Nick Hornby's 'How to be Good'. Also saw "Kal Ho Na Ho" over the weekend and didn't care too much for it. But then again I watch like 2.34 Hindi movies in a year..so I'm far from being the Bollywood critic...
On another note, the instability of the visa life continues. This article explains some or the most recent speculations about the future of Indian techies in the US. With Bush running for re-election this year, he will be looking foward to give the american public good news about the economy. I doubt he can create new jobs at this juncture, but capping the H1 and L1 visa limits may help open up some positions in the US job market.

Interrogist :)
This is the gang name given to me at work by Rudy, a co worker.
Interrogist = Interrogator + Terrorist . I get the interrogator part since I always ask my fellow poker players a lot of questions while playing. The terrorist part is post 9/11 humor. They actually also have a southpark reperesentation of me here. So much for that..I am outta here...Its 6.10 and a racketball game hopefully awaits me....
