Lisboa - 30 days and counting
The Luz stadium in Lisbon,Portugal is where I will be for the first quarter final game of Euro 2004.I just recieved tickets for the game in the mail yesterday and I should be all set once I get my Portuguese visa early next week.It is very likely that I get to see England play, but you never know what happens in the group stages.

In other soccer related news, Vincente and Mita sealed their names in the history books by scoring a goal each in Valencia's triumph in the UEFA cup. Rafa Benitez, the coach of Valencia is specualated to be amongst the front runners in replacing Gerard Houllier at Liverpool, if Liverpool do go on to axe the Frenchman. The off season in Europe is always very interesting with so many changes to status quo specially at clubs in England,Spain and Italy.

Santosh Dawara has put up a flattering post about me on his website(which is v cool). Santosh is a stud macha sindhi and from what I hear on the brink of greatness in the IT industry. His persona is also obviously what it is, since he is also an Ex-Loyolite. He's a great guy who once helped me out with JAVA code 3 hours after flying in from India. Thats True Desi Reality TV for you!!. Check his website out.Definitely worth a look.

Aur kya ..Half of my student freinds are graduating from RIT this weekend. Although this is great news for them, its not so good news for me. New freinds..same old process...oh well..Life goes on...My reading on ASP.NET is coming along slowly...very slowly actually. But something is better than nothing.

The political turmoil in India will hopefully stop, now that we are poised to have Manmohan Singh as our next prime minister. From what I gather, people have recovered almost all the money they lost a few days ago in the SENSEX crash, which is good for them. Sonia's decision not to accept the post of India's PM has baffled almost all of the country. The fact that she said " Meree ANTAR-AATMA kahetee hai", that I should not accept this post, is like a dialogue out of a Bollywood flick. Its more if not as emphatic as a "Mein tere bache kee maa bun-ne wallee hoon" :)".

Aur sabh kushal mangal....I sign off with something that my ANTAR-AATMA is whispering to me..
Its saying....Krispy Kreme Donuts kick ass dude...Go out and get one...:)

Cheers!!

ps:For the sake of 5/6th of the world, ANTAR-AATMA = conscience
