Arjun Dugal - personality of the week
Who is Arjun Dugal?

Arjun a.k.a Sarjun/Junardhan Godbole/Doogie boy/McDoogle is a chadee pal from the chadee days. The higlights of his life include sharing a desk with me in 6th grade in Loyola High School. The two instances where life really screwed him over were when he moved across the Mulla-Mutha to join a "wannabe school" called Vincents and when he moved across the state border to a "wannabe Poona" called Bangalore.
McDoogle is an upcoming star in WIPRO and is also called "Retail Raja". He gets the name due to his extensive IT knowledge in the retail industry.

What does Arjun look like?

Sarjun is the stud maccha Puneite/Banglorian/Altantian and most recently a Bostonian who is standing next to me in this picture (second guy from the right -top)

Arjun does not have a web presence yet, but its worth the wait.

More about Arjun later in the week. I plan to write about people like Arjun every now and then. Specially about people who read my emails exectly a week late and make plans to meet me in NYC 3 days after I have got back from there.

This personality of the week things may help increase inflo-traffic too.;)

Cheers to McDoogle,
Mera dost, Mera yaar
Welcome to the inflosion Parivaar!

TRiangle BElow CAnal
Tribeca was where I was on Saturday night. My cousin Tina met up with me at a lounge type place called Grace and after that we went to this bar called "Wine and Beer" bar, both of which I recommend if you ever visit the city. Tina was also showed me around Soho for a little bit on Saturday, which was also a blast. All in all, she showed me a good time. We also caught a great movie in Shrek 2. Its much better than the first Shrek movie....definitely a must see.

That said, New York City rocks....It makes you feel as alive as you possibly can feel..ever..

Moving onto more important things...

1. Jose Mourinho's FC Porto scored 3 against a Monaco side that i am sure will be very very dissapointed. Mourinho has stormed onto the coaching scene and has taken an underperforming Porto side to two portogouse league titles, a league cup, the UEFA cup and the chapions league in just two years. Here is one of the tributes to the champions of Erurope and the latest wanted man in the football world.

2. Two high profile coaches in Gerard Houllier(Liverpool) and Carlos Quieroz(Real Madrid) were fired yesterday. A little harsh but the "SILVERWARE or U'RE FIRED" trend in soccer today is more evident than ever before.

3. Claudio Ranieri is still in limbo over if he will play a role in Chelsea FC next season. Frank Lampard paid tribute to him today and requested the board to clear the air over who will be the coach of Chelsea next season. Chelsea and Real Madrid seem to be very volatile this summer. Lots of soccer gossip from these two clubs as of late....

In other not so interesting news, Alan Smith is now a Man United player for a mere 7 million pounds.

I am currently reading "Both feet on the Ground" by David Beckham. Its a good documentary of his ife, but I don't reccommend it to someone who has no clue about football. It does give the reader his view though on key contoversial events like his sending off against Argentina, his marraige to a pop star, ...I've only gotten so far...more when I finish readingthe book.

In other news....I'm running the 3 mile JP Morgan Chase run tommorow at RIT.I'm off camping on Friday night to the Bsitrovich camp close to a town called "Fine" in upsate NY. Pictures on that trip to follow for sure...

Have a good memorial day weekend.

Astalavista..;)
