The semi annual post...
Damm....Its been almost 6 months since my last post. So much has happened, so much forgotten...so much undocumented...Before I ramble on about so much in my life, I highly recommend watching this clip. It is hilarious and is bound to crack you up.

The highlight of my life since my last post was definitely my trip to India. I attended Vikram/Shibani's wedding as well as Rohan/Puja's wedding in early January. I also hung out with family, friends and had a blast playing Cricket,UNO and Monopoly with my two nephews who are a riot and almost always wired:)Jui and I also met up with freinds in Denver over thanksgiving last year. That was fun as we all went snowboarding, which I must confess was awesome. Pictures of all my travels near and far can be found here .

What else...

I'm still as disgusted as ever with the boring American media that extend a two minute news clipping into a 3 month national agenda. Their inablity to break out of their bubbled existance of truly amazes me. A country like this should be able to come up with more than the 24/7 heros and victims bullshit that we see on the news every second of the day.

Spring is here....the snow is melting..a super weekend awaits me...
Ciao..

Ebay -),Throat Coat, Food and personalities
Ebay rocks...I finally have a monitor for my PC @ home....My old monitor went kaput after it literally got rained out...Since sources close to the folks that read this blog complain that it has more stale soccer news than any curd for the mind I've decided to make this a soccer free post...

My short adult life has taught me that deciding what one should eat day in and day out is argubly one of the most difficult decisions in life. I have reached a point where I am truly clueless of what to cook. I'm bored of eating bread, cheese, chicken, turkey, tuna, asparagus, brocolli, pasta, shrimp, soup, cereal, milk, fruit, salad, thai, italian, the list is never ending.... In this moment of crisis, I can only but proudly include myself in the group of stereotypical desis who are craving for "Ma ke haath ka bana hooa khaana"....Any suggestions on how I can further my existance by cooking at home will be greatly appreciated. Having a sore throat doesn't help either...
Its that time of the year when my throat feels like a liability I could really do without. I could as most of you know make a movie about my throat and my relation with it but today I will conclude before I start rambling, by reccommending a throat soothing remedy called
THROAT COAT. I don't know if I'm actually getting better by drinking this "erbal" tea, but it sure feels good to drink it. I watched Master and Commander today. Its a decent flick and a million times better than a movie called the punisher which is first(or last depending on how you look at it) on my list of movies that should have never been made. My sick day off from work also included answering 10 questions so that Dr. Phil could tell me what he thinks the world sees me as.Anyone who dares to own up to the fact that you DO have time to spare when a seemingly stupid fowarded email appears in your inbox should take this personality test.

I think its time to go figure out what I should eat for dinner ....

~Ciao

Shah.....Soccer..Sex and SweeDisch Sven...
Congratulations to Kapil Shah and Neeta Uttarkar on getting engaged last week. Hopefully i can make it for your wedding.

Congratulations to Nikhil Kriplani a good friend from my MIT (Bhoju - You suck at electronics) days...He married Larissa Sadarangani, an outstanding badminton player and also AJmeister's first cousin.

My mum met Hari Sunderesan who apparently ALSO got married and has also grown a beard...Sunderesan ..hope to see you in marigold this December...

Half the world and its uncle are getting married which in my opinion is great...I guess its always good when relationships end in commitment and possibly marraige rather than scandal like whats unfolded in the latest comedy club of our times.."The English Football Association".

SVENGATE unfolded today as Faria Allam sold her story to the newsoftheword. I'm am ashamed at my delight at reading such stupid gossip, but trust me..its worth a read. To think that an organisation like the FA could dig itself such a big hole is v v funny. Whoever said that this only happens in a Hindi Movie.

Life at work has been all about portal servers this week. I learnt about the existance of different vendors like PlumTree,Sharepoint and HummigBird this week.Gadgets/Portlets...some cool stuff ....

I have'nt been a happy camper as far as blogging goes....Its more than laziness and a busy schedule....or then again..maybe it is just laziness afterall...

I watched Cold Mountain and Mystic River last week...recommended flicks...
Technology picnic at work tommorow....and golf tournament through Thomson West on Saturday....it promises to be a great rest of the week. The major European leagues kick off this weekend...YIPPEE :)

more later...ciao.
